'Why & How Universities Should Take on Moonshots' panel session receives early acceptance for SXSW EDU 2019

On Sept. 10, 2018, SXSW EDU announced panel sessions selected for early acceptance for its ninth annual SXSW EDU Conference & Festival. The panel session titled, “Why & How Universities Should Take on Moonshots,” was among those to receive early acceptance. The panel brings together thought leaders across universities and organizations, and will focus on how to launch, sustain, and build external partnerships to solve specific Grand Challenges while demonstrating value to the public.

The panel features:

UCLA Grand Challenges would like to thank Jennifer Lyon Gardner at The University of Texas at Austin for organizing the session and Adrienne Dawson, Research Communications Manager at The University of Texas at Austin for liaising with SXSW EDU. The SXSW EDU Conference & Festival, now in its ninth year, cultivates and empowers a community of engaged stakeholders to advance teaching and learning. SXSW EDU will return to Austin, TX from March 4-7, 2019.
